Camp was something I was looking forward to. Getting to go to High Africa for the very first time! I was so excited to do this, get away from technology and all other distractions. So when the 6th of March came I was so pumped! When we got onto the bus, I was ready for the wait. A two hour drive can’t keep my excitement down. Then we settle down and get ready for the bumpy ride, off the camp we go!!!We arrived at camp with so much excitement, even with all our heavy bags, we ran to the meeting point. We all couldn’t wait till we got our cabin numbers, once the crew members were introduced, we got our cabin numbers, I got all of my friends and then went to our cabin, we reached our destination. CABIN 7!!! We unpacked ( after we discussed who gets the top bunk ) then we headed out to the cafeteria to get our cutlery in place. After that the real adventure began. I was assigned to the Leap of Faith! It was one of the games we had to do. It was so exciting there was this climbing wall a...

Grade 5, what a wonderful experience so far! First day of school starts with a bunch of homework, what a day! Next week we are on a mission to the beach, challenging each other to see who can stay in the water the longest, even though the water was cold... We manged to even go even deeper. Under the water! And after that, we buried my friend in the sand and gave her a tail, and then Mother Earth came! I was buried in the sand form my toes to almost my nose! My friends have built a mountain on my legs with mud and sand and was now calling me Mother Earth. I washed off in the water when I was done, but the water was so cold I never touched it again! Now all the fun was over the next outing arrived. For a relaxing trip to..... Kirstenbosch! What exciting news, being called Mother Earth at the beach,  I was pumped to go see the flowers! Once the day had arrived we got to see not just flowers, but trees that could be over 100 years old. We got to go on the Boom slang and when we were w...

Grade 4 Camp

Grade 4 camp was very fun! The Quail class went with the Guinea Fowl class.  We first went to Giraffe  House, it was super cool we got to look at all these interesting animals!  like spiders.... We also watched a reptile show! My favorite part was feeding the animals and looking at them. When we arrived at Simonsberg everyone got their bags and went inside to get our rooms.  Then we all went outside to go to the pool! Everyone was having a blast inducing me! Then after the awesome swim we got to play in the forest. We  built forts actually not just any forts AMAZING FORTS!!! Everyone had a great time, then the next day we started the activities I have to say I really enjoyed all of the activities but i'm gonna tell you I mean write  about three of my favorite activities. The first activity that I enjoyed more then others was the mud pit, mostly because I was that only got soaked from the mud. The second thing that was really fun was the blind walk, becau...
